(Spe cial.) The unusual amount of fine driftwood which has been coming in along the beaches in front of Twin Rocks, besides supplying a great deal of the stove and fireplace wood for the summer cottagers, has resulted in more thorough examination than usual of the curious products cast on the shore by the waves. Finds recently reported Include such things as seaman's chests, bales of three-ply lumber, timbers of ships, great quantities of grass matting, bars of paraffin and fragments of lifeboats. The imagination is easily set going by such fragments and many a story Is thought out while Idly examining a bit of some Jetti soned cargo or any wave-worn object connected in some romantic way with those "who go down to the sea In ships."
