Official Reporter A. M. Butler and -Assistants
Transcribing Voluminous Testimony.
Ovor two million words of evidence were
taken from ISO witnesses in the famous Hicks
trial, now concluded. By usimj the Dictaphone
-system each day it was possible to typewrite the
evidence the same day and furnish each attorney
with copy.
In a recent report of President Taft's Econ
omy and Efficiency Commission it was asserted
that over $r00.000 a year in expense, plus enor
mous increase in efficiency, could lie secured if
the Dictaphone system were installed in the
Government departmental work of Washington,
D. C.
If you will telephone or call at Suite 31G in
the Eilers Imildinir. we will be jrlad to demon
strate how greater efficiency and at least forty
per cent of correspondence expense can be saved
in any busy office.
