Powell, with Mrs, Powell's mother EDISON PHONOGRAPH represents; notronly the original sound-reproducing idea invented by Mr. Edison, but it also represents every improvement Mr. Edison has been able to make in hisoriginal invention. It is an improvement that the Edison Phonograph uses a reproducing point of such hardness that it lasts for years and does away with the annoyance of continually having to change needles. It is an improvement that the horn is constructed in such a way as to give the greatest clear ness and volume of sound, without sacrificing the quality of the sound. It is an improvement that the Edison Phonograph and Edison Records can be bought so cheaply that they make good music possible to all.
