Portland, Oregon, whose citizens will no doubt recognize the
lonely "white house In the aspens," the wide square with the
courthouse facing It, and on another side the chapel on whose
communion table the Reverend Henry Sanderson played his
game of poker for Hugh Stlres' soul.
