Many" Diversions Enjoyed by Those at Oregon Resort, SEASIDE, Or., Aug. 19. (Special corre spondencesThe beach here Is crowded from daylight until dark, and even In the evening the light of numerous bonfires may be seen. The bowling alleys are do ing a rushing business and the dances are well patronized. While a. few of the peo ple are beginning to leave, the Influx Is still much greater than the outflow, and the season Is still at its height. Hotel accommodations are at a" premium, espe cially at the end of the week, when every Uone who can Is glad to escape the heat and smoke of town for the delightful cli mate of the beach, and the resources of the hotelkeepers are sorely taxed to know what to do with the sudden Increase of their already numerous families. Surf-bathing Is as popular as ever, es pecially with members of the "fair sex,' who seem to have greater vitality in cold water than the colder-blooded men. The latter, however, are willing spectators. and the beach at bathing hour presents a lively scene. Hotel Gearhart. Barbara Mackenzie, Jennie Jay. Mrs, C. J. Groat, Miss Semele Groat, Mr. and .airs.
