INVITATION TO BID NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CITY OF OAKRIDGE 2017 WATER SOURCE TRANSMISSION, STORAGE & DISTRIBUTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Bids due 2:00 pm, October 12, 2017 Sealed bids for the 2017 Water Source, Transmission, Storage & Distribution Improvements project in the City of Oakridge will be received by the City until 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 12th, 2017, at which time bidding will be closed. Pursuant to ORS 279C.370(2), within two (2) working hours following the submittal deadline, all Bidders shall submit a disclosure form as furnished with these bid documents identifying any first-tier subcontractors (those entities that would be contracting directly with the prime contractor) that would be furnishing labor or materials on the Contract, if awarded, whose subcontract value would be equal to, or greater than: Five percent of the total Contract Price, but at least $15,000, or $350,000 regardless of the percentage of the total Contract Price. The reservoir transmission main includes a 180 foot long cased bore under an existing railroad alignment. The project also includes two pressure reducing valve stations. The estimated project cost for the Basic Bid is $2,200,000. The City reserves the right to remove any of the above work, or some portion thereof, if deemed necessary to reduce overall cost of the project.
