The group shakes up the notion that they’re another soul revival band by bringing a fresh approach to what they have coined Gulf Coast Soul. They have performed on the Late Show with David Let- terman, on NPR’s Tiny Desk, and at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. The large ensemble packs each position of the rhythm and horn section as a perfect foundation for singer Kam Franklin’s massive voice. Their 2016 self-titled debut album hit shelves this month.
