He’s nom- inated twice for both best rap song with “Alright” and for co-writing Kanye West’s “All Day,” as well as best music video for “Alright” and “Bad Blood.” “It’s a testimony to his artist- ry,” said Recording Academy CEO Neil Portnow of Lamar. “He’s someone that’s very seri- ous about his art and about hi s craft, and has been working it for quite some time. And this is one of those instances where the work pays off.” The 58th Grammys will air live on Feb. 15 from Los Angeles. Holiday Magic Breakfast A popular holiday breakfast theater program takes place over several weekends this month at the Lakewood Theater company in Lake Oswego. An all-new version of the 24th annual “The Peppermint Bear Show 2015: The Taming of the Shoe,” is playing at the Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. St. St., with two performances at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturdays, Dec. 12 and 19, and two performances at the same times on Sundays, Dec. 13 and 20. Audience members enjoy a spe- cial holiday continental breakfast as characters interact with young audience members. There will even be a visit by a man in a red suit! The performance is suitable for ages 3-12. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for students.
