versary of the atomic bombings of
Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan,
a unique travelling exhibit, Edu-
cating For Peace: Never Again,
comes to Concordia University in

The event comes from Hiro-
shima’s Ground Zero Museum,
and is brought to Concordia by
the Wholistic Peace Institute, the

Portland Police are asking for
the public’s renewed efforts in
trying to solve a murder that oc-
curred 10 years ago.
On July 25, 2005, close to 10
p.m., 26-year-old Eyo Nyong,
known casually as “Black,” was
standing not far from the former
L.V. Sports Bar parking lot, which
was located in the 3500 block of
North Vancouver Avenue.
Witnesses report that two black
men approached Nyong and en-
gaged him in conversation, when
one of them pulled a gun and fired,
Nyong was a regular of the bar.
He was survived by both of his
parents and five of his own young
children.
Crime Stoppers is offering a
cash reward of up $1,000 for in-
formation that could help this case
push forward and lead to an arrest.
