the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon, seeks a Chief Financial Of-
ficer to lead the development and operation of financial systems
for a growing and vibrant $25 million organization. Be a part of a

This position is charged with the development, execution, and
effectiveness of financial modeling, analysis, and strategy align-
ment, as well as developing and executing an effective technol-
ogy/data strategy. The ideal candidate is a financial strategist
and will have a deep understanding of financial systems and a
proven breadth of personal development in business skills such
as strategic planning, information technology, negotiation, cor-
porate and contract law, privacy, organizational risk manage-
ment, insurance, asset management, and property acquisition.
The CFO will work closely with the President/CEO and a veteran
and growing leadership team to build on UWCW’s strong fiscal
foundation while creating innovation, energy, and momentum to
maximize United Way’s investments. Minimum 10 years progres-
sively responsible experience with complex, long-term financial
modeling, analysis, and strategy creation and execution; 8 years
supervisory and team management experience; nonprofit fiscal
management experience preferred; Master’s Degree in a related
field, or in accounting, business administration, public adminis-
tration, social work, or social science; academic training in math,
finance, or actuarial science; or a comparable combination of ex-
perience and education.
