Page 2 ^Jortlanò (ßbseruer Strip Club Death Nets 15 Years Support Saves Landmark A 32-year-old Portland man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for using a gun to kill another man in a fight outside a northeast Portland strip club. Bradley Carl O ’Rourke was seen leaving Club Skinn in the early hours of the morning of May 8,2013. Police investigators said he walked past a group of five people and cat-called a 21-year-old woman in the group. A scuffle ensued. O ’Rourke was accused of punch ing one person in the face before pull ing out a gun and firing three rounds. He pleaded guilty to first-degree man slaughter last week for killing Anton L. Hill, 33, with a shot to the head. Hill was a father of five. Reach Com m unity Developm ent received an award o f nearly $ 18 m illion in low income and affordable housing credits and grants. The award will be invested tow ards the O r ch ard s at O renco in H illsb o ro and the Bronaugh A partm ents in dow ntow n Port land. The Orchards will be the first affordable housing unit for low -incom e fam ilies at Orenco, and is being built with cost-effective construction techniques to low er heating and cooling requirem ents. The Bronaugh serves elderly and disabled Portlanders living on fixed incom es. The first phase o f construction for the O rchard at O renco is expected to be in com pleted by June and the Bronaugh A partm ent project will break ground in May. Student Stabbed to Death A Linfield College athlete was stabbed and killed Saturday after a football game in McMinnville. The suspect was fatally shot by police during a confrontation immediately following the incident at a conve nience store near the college cam pus. Student Sex Videos Investigated Bill Cosby Dodges Allegations Portland police detectives are in vestigating reports that students at Grant High School recorded them selves having sex and then shared those videos to other students. Sharing videos of minors engaging in sex is a crime and Portland Police said the teens who shared the vid eos could face child pom-related charges. Comedian Bill Cosby retreated into silence as allegations that he sexu ally assaulted a woman several de cades ago and other women in the past come back into the conversa tion over social media and in the news. A spokesman for the come dian said the allegations were false. If Cleared, Ferguson Officer to Return to Duty As protests continue in Ferguson, Mo., and across the country, fo l low ing the police shooting o f M ichael Brown, the local police force has announced how it m ight respond to the grand jury's deci sion in the case.
