General admis sion is $8, and tickets are available at the door. This special screening celebrates recent preservation efforts, notably the restoration of the 1914 silent film The Boy Mayor, Hollywood's ex amination of the trials and tribula tions of Portland's underage shadow government. The five films that will be shown are am ong the thousands held within the historical society ’ s Mov ing Images Collection, and will fea ture live piano accompaniment by the group’s Library Director Geoff Wexler. The other films featured will be SickofLife/M ephisto’sS on,a 1900 film about the devil’s son becoming disillusion with life in hell; Gold ( 1922), a story about a hungry fam ily coming to grips with the harsh realities of life in an Oregon pros pecting camp; a Calumet Baking Powder Advertisement (date un known); and Raym ond Roger's home movies from 1935 to 1950, which include a 23rd Avenue street car, Ringling Brothers Circus, Blue Mouse Theater, Vanport Flood, and more. - UNIVERSAL Teamwork Parties conducted by John Olive of TEAM 1 Participants can either attend or host, inviting 4-30 guest(team players).
