The students demonstrated hard work and dedication both at school and as caddies at the city ’ s public golf course to earn their awards in a highly competi- tive process, Geared to underserved and lower-income sophomores who attend a public high school lo- cated within the city, Portland Parks and Recreation has spon- sored the Early Adventures in Golf for a Lifetime of Enjoyment program for more than 20 years, providing key opportunities for hundreds of area teens.
