In Loving Memory
Gary Washington
The Portland Observer, members of the newspaper’s
Washington family, and extended family and friends, are
mourning the loss of a beloved brother, father and husband.
Gary Duane Washington died Saturday. He was 53.
He was bom Sept. 6,1959, the son of Duane and Joyce
Washington. He was the brother of Charles Washington,
the late Portland Observer publisher who passed way on
Dec. 8.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at
Fellowship Missionary Church, 4009 N. Missouri Ave.
Gary will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Observer newspaper in care of Mark Washington, 4747
N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
