Notice of Consolidated Plan One-Year Action Plan FY
2013-2014 Comment Period and Public Hearings
The O ne-Year Action Plans FY 2013-2014 for M ultnom ah County,
the City o f P ortland, and the C ity o f G resham describe and prioritize
cu rre n t h o u sin g and co m m u n ity d e ve lo p m e n t needs, establish
strategies and set one-year goals to address those needs, and itemize
how a p p roxim a te ly $1 1 -$ 1 9 m illion dollars in CD BG , H O M E and
oth er federal resources will be invested du rin g FY 201 3 -1 4 , the
third year o f the FY 2011-2016 Consolidated Plan. The Consolidated
Plan d escribes h ousing priorities w ithin M ultnom ah County, and
esta b lish es stra te gie s and sets goals fo r the ju risd ictio n s to m eet
th e ir h ou sin g and co m m u n ity d e ve lop m e n t goals. Before m aking
any ch a nges to the C onsolid ated Plan through the O ne-Year Action
P lan, th e ju ris d ic tio n s w a n t to give local re s id e n ts an d o th e r
sta ke h o ld e rs the o p p o rtu n ity to present co m m en ts and view s on
h ou sin g and co m m u n ity d e ve lop m e n t needs priorities and draft
action plans.

W om en's Basketball Program , located at the beautiful C a sca de Gym
at PCC*s C ascade C am pus (6 0 0 N. K illingsw orth, P ortland, O regon).
This part-tim e position reports to th e D ire ctor o f A th le tic and w orks
with ca m pu s dep artm ents, and ath letic co m m issio n e rs to e n su re
com pliance with all N W AACC rules, and receive a stipend o f ($5000).
The program is se e kin g a coach with a h istory o f w in n in g records,
and p rod ucing acad em ica lly successful stu d e n t athletes.

R e s p o n s ib ili t ie s :
1. R ecruit eligible players and assure th a t th e y are aw a re o f the
I requirem ents and e xpenses o f a tten d in g the college.
2. D eterm ine w hich players will be offered letters o f in tent and
tuition w aivers. A ssu re th a t all players understand the te rm s and
cond ition s fo r receiving tuition w aivers at PCC.
3. M aintain up-to-date know ledge o f e ligib ility rules, and a ssu re
that the athletic office has all the inform ation needed for com pletion
o f e ligibility form s and records.

A ssu re th a t p layers co m p le te all re q u ire m e n ts to p la y and
practice (e.g., com pletion o f financial aid applications, en ro llm en t in
I required courses, m eeting with acad em ic advisor, and oth e r item s
j in the Player A greem ent).
5. W ork w ith the assigned acad em ic ad viso r and ath le tic sta ff to
track p layers’ acad em ic progress.
6. W ork w ith athletic sta ff to schedule ath letic events, a b id in g by
the league sch e d u le s set up by the region com m ission ers.
7. T ra n sp o rt te a m s to events and provide su p ervision before and
after gam es; m eet all scheduled obligations; w ork with ath letic staff
to m anage travel money, insure safety, and prom ote safety and ethical
behavior.
8. A ssu re th a t ga m e score s are reported to the N W A A C C office
I and local m edia, and th a t statistics, receipts, an d oth e r required
paperw ork is subm itted in a tim e ly m anner.
9. Insure th a t ath le tes have com pleted physical exam s and are
trained and conditioned.
10. Be fa m ilia r w ith and c o m p ly w ith all b a s k e tb a ll p o lic ie s ,
procedures, rules and regulations, in clu d in g N W A A C C rules related
to eligibility, p laying season dates, pre-gam e activities, travel squad
size, protests, hom e team responsibilities, scrim m age rules and
conference to u rn a m e n t schedule, etc.
11. Teach basketball fu n d am e n tals and coach students to achieve
th e ir potential.
12. A tte n d N W A A C C and S o u th e rn R egion c o a c h e s m e e tin g s,
including preseason and postseason Southern Region m eetings,
13. Prom ote the basketball program to stu d e n t body, faculty, and
com m unity. A ssist the athletic d e p a rtm e n t in fu n d ra isin g efforts.
14. C arry o u t other responsibilities as assigned.
