Knott St., is one o f four Portland Parks and Recreation facilities with special open and family swims on the national Martin Luther King Jr Day holiday, Monday, Jan. 21. The Matt Dishman pool, 77 N.E. Knott St., will have an open play swim from 1:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.; the East Portland pool, 740 S.E. 106th Ave., will be open for family swim from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and for open swim s from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m ., and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. the Mt. Scott pool, 5530 S.E. 72nd Ave., will open its leisure pool to open play swimming from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m .; and the Southw est pool, 6820 S.W. 45th Ave., will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for family swim and from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. for open swim.
