T he pursuit began after a report o f a d isturbance involving tw o m en w ith guns. As officers arrived to the scene, the suspects sped aw ay in a car. Police pursued the suspects northbound on the freew ay until they w ere able to stop the car using spike strips to deflate the tires. 20-year-old K evin R einhard, 26- year-old Shaw n K eele and 22-year- old C helsea Scott w ere all arrested on charges o f possession o f m eth am phetam ine. A fter using a replica firearm to rob the store, police say the suspect took o ff on foot into the su rro u n d ing neighborhood w here officers later caught up to him . C ashio was transported to the D etective D ivision and eventually booked into the M ultnom ah C ounty Jail on a charge o f R obbery in the S econd D egree. Bias Crimes Reward C rim e Stoppers is asking for help in solving tw o unsolved bias crim es that occurred in Portland in 2010 and 2011. Just after m idnight on M onday N ov. 1,2010, ■*r T im o th y M c C u b b in , 49, w as s e verely beaten and left u n c o n s c io u s under the p e destrian overpass at Southeast 16th A venue and B rooklyn Street. D etectives believe that the as sault w as likely due to v ic tim 's sexual orientation. T he suspect is described as a w hite m ale in his early to late 20s. He is approxim ately 6' 1" w ith a m uscu lar build. He had short blonde hair, a light beard, a light com plexion, freckles and w as riding a bike w ith another m an on bike. In w hat police to believe to be an unrelated incident, on Sunday M ay 22,2011 at around 8:30p.m ., 23-year- old Brad Forkner and 25-year-old C hristopher R osevear were attacked by several suspects after they w ere seen w alking and holding hands in W aterfront Park. The suspects are described as male, white, in their 20s and all about 5T 1" inches tall, with short, dark hair. O ne was w earing a blue hooded sweatshirt, another was w earing a white or cream hooded sweatshirt and a third was w earing a brow n hooded sweatshirt. The victim be lieves that the suspects were speak ing in an Eastern European language.
