Revel in the enchantment of the holiday season in the
sparkling forest of Shakespeare’s most beloved, magical
tale. Portland Center Stage’s production of A Midsum­
mer Night’s Dream is now playing through Dec. 23.

Gospel Concert to Fight Violence
Emmanuel Temple
hosts holiday benefit
The community is invited to join an evening of
music, arts, inspiration, and sharing through an
extraordinary holiday benefit concert, Friday, Nov.
23, at Emmanuel Temple Church, 1033 N. Sumner.
Doors open at 6 p.m.
The headline artist is Eric Carrington of Houston
Texas, a nationally recognized Urban Gospel con­
temporary musician. Portland local Jazz Saxophon­
ist, Eldon T. Jones and Northwest Poet and musi­
cian Jacqueine M. Echols will perform as well. Evan­
gelist Rochelle Jones of Seattle will lead praise and
worship. Additional drama and music sets will
complete the evening.
The concert will support efforts to stop gang
violence and promote a dialog on the importance of
stopping gang violence in our communities and
neighborhoods. Proceeds
