September 26. 2012 Minority & Small Business Week Technical Assistance for Local Employers Oregon's Bureau of Labor and Industries, home of the state’s Technical Assistance for Em ployers Program, has opened registration for the state's pre mieremployertraining event with a special early-bird registration price for the complete two-day package. This year's conference, set for Nov. 29-30 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, will feature 22 different semi- nars on a wide range of topics. “Our conference agenda is driven by what local employers are telling us they want and need to be successful,” said Jennifer Germundson, program manager and coordinator of the annual event. “Each of our seminars is led by an expert presenter from BOLI or one of Oregon's lead ing employment law attorneys.
