A p ril 25, 2012 w sportiani* (Obstruer T erry F amily F uneral H ome Life Celebration Eddie Danielson It was a cloudy day when you went away, the cancer we so bravely fought stole your life away. On April 4, 2012 Edward Danielson passed away after a long and courageous battle. Eddie was a loving brother to Jonathan and Glen D anielson and M ichael Demartine, and a loving son and best friend to his m o th e r G eo rg in a Danielson. He left behind many fam ily members and friends to carry on his memory. He was an avid skateboarder, who loved his family and friends. Join us in celebrating Eddie’s life on May 27,2012 at 1 p.m .at the University Park Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4007 N. Alaska St. A potluck will follow. Also, you can help us find a cure for Pontine Glioma Brainstem cancer, so no other family will have to go through what our family did. Help us keep Eddie’s memory alive. We will miss your smile and your laughter. You will always be our little Eddie forever. Heaven got another angel the day you went away, and not a day goes by that we don't miss you. Just because you needed to leave doesn't mean we were ready to let you go. Loving you now and forever, love momma. Hilton “Buzz" Ward, 67, passed away Monday April 16,2012 at home in Portland. He was bom Nov. 7,1944 in Cisco, Texas. His parents were Hilton Ward I and Vera Elizabeth Patterson. He attended Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in Ft. Worth, Texas, where he participated in marching, stage, and jazz bands. He also loved to dance. After graduating in his high school class of 1963, he received a full band scholarship to play the trumpet at Cisco Junior College. Fulfilling a need to travel, he joined the U. S. Navy, where he obtained the rank of Seaman First Class, trav eling throughout the South Pacific. He was honorably discharged from the Navy and went into community service in Ft. Worth. He married Marva Cannon and together they had a son Hilton Leroy Ward III. His sense of adventure brought him to Portland in 1988. Hilton’s pleasing personality resulted in many friends in Portland: they always considered him as part of their families. He completed his training as a dental assistant from Concord Dental Assisting School in Portland and worked as a dental assistant for 21 -years with his brother Dr. Edward E. Ward at Interstate Dental Clinic. He volunteered in community health dentistry as a Northwest Medical Dental Van Volunteer in Fossil, Ore., and volunteered in other areas of community service. He particularly liked traveling to Honolulu, Hawaii to attend the National Dental Association convention in 2010. Hilton also loved his Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church family and his pastor Rev. Johnny Pack. He is survived by his son; brothers Edward E. Ward (Barbara), John Talton Jones (Lena), and Mike Maston; sister Artimece Webb; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service was scheduled at Willamette National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 24, at 1 p.m. Arrangements by Terry Family Funeral Home. 2337 N.
