Da Vinci Arts Opens Enrollment Planetarium
Da Vinci Arts Middle School, 2508 N.E. Everett
St., is a Portland Public Schools special focus school
for 6th, 7th & 8th graders with an interest in visual
and performing arts. The arts are often integrated
into core academic classes to reinforce learning and
help students connect to the material.
Da Vinci does not have a neighborhood catchment
area, and accepts students from throughout the PPS
district. Beginning Feb. 10, applications to apply to
the school are available on the school’s website and
in the office.
Admission selection is done by a lottery. Da Vinci
anticipates having 150 openings for 6th graders,
about five openings for 7th graders and about five
openings for 8th graders.
