Others follow along, join ing the inclusive spirit of this “gath ering of joy”. “Obonfest gives our temple the chance to share our celebration of the ancestors with the larger com munity”, said Rev. Jundo Gregory Gibbs, minister of the Oregon Bud dhist Temple. “It’s a time for shed ding self-consciousness and just having fun dancing.
