The program is called “ ¡Éxito!” or “suc cess” in Spanish. Latinos make up 20 percent of stu d e n ts in O re g o n ’s p u b lic schools, but just 5 percent, or 1,236 students from PSU’s student body. Though they are the fastest grow ing population in Oregon, Latinos are the m ost underrepresented group at PSU, relative to their num bers statewide.
