T obin Britton, president o f Pride NW , believes the them e is perfect for reflecting on recent setbacks at the ballot box and in court with sam e-sex marriage. “W e are your neighbors, friends or that person in the grocery sto re,” Britton said. “W e pay taxes, and d o n ’t w ant to be treated as a special interest. W e ju st w ant our rights like everyone else. T h a t’s why w e are everyday festivities. “ It’s your pride too, so ow n it," Britton said.
