A Kids’ Pedal parade for youth ages 6 to 13,
sponsored by the Community Cycling Center of north
east Portland, will precede this year’s Rose Festival
Grand Floral Parade ot. Saturday June 11.
The event kicks o ff at 7 a.m. with a safety skills
rodeo at the firehouse located on the west side of

put children riding safely - all of them wearing helmets
- in the spotlight with thousands of spectators cheer

The entry fee is $20 per child and each rider will
receive a free t-shirt and be able to take part in various
competitions to win other prizes. There will be refresh
ments at the finish line.
