The event will also feature A licia K eys, Josh G roban, U sher, A ngelina Jolie, A n drea B ocelliandC hrisT ucker. It follow s in the tradition o f “ We A re the W o rld ,” the 1985 recording Jones pro duced to help raise m oney for famine victims in Africa. That recording also featured a c e lebrity cast. The Glocalization confer ence will include more than 50 mayors from around the globe. Countries represented include Greece, Mali, Estonia, Brazil, Russia, Italy and the United States. The Portland W alking Tours have em barked on a new season o f regularly scheduled tours twice- daily every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The guided tours explore the history, architecture, bridges, parks, fountains, artw ork, and unique places in Portland. The morning walk called “Best o f Portland Walk” is rich with art- work, architecture, parks, and foun tains. The afternoon tour, cal led “A Walk Through Time* takes people back to the earl icst day s o f Port land and features the city’s exquisite architecture. The walks start at the Visitor C e n ter at P io n eer C o u rth o u se S q u a re , S o u th w e st 6 th an d Morrison. Prices for adults are $ 15 with one child under 12 free with each paying adult. Seniors and youth pay $ 12. Tickets can be pur chased at the Portland Center for Performing Arts box office.
