REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING
SUPPORT AND CONSULTING SERVICES
The City of La Center Washington is requesting proposals for
Engineering Support and Consulting services. The Engineer or
Engineering Firm must be licensed and practicing as a Professional
Engineer in the State of W ashington. The City anticipates
contracting with the firm(s) whom in the City’s sole opinion is best
qualified to perform a variety of specialized functions. Typical
Engineering Support/Consulting Services may include but not
necessarily limited to:
Plat Review
Parks design
Grant Writing
Survey Services
Drainage Design
Subdivision Review
Traffic Design and Signage
Project and Construction Management
General Engineering Advice as Consultant to the City
Proposals should include a: "Statement of Qualifications" outlining
pertinent performance data and experience along with a current
fee schedule and references P roposals should bo lim ited to
five pages front and back Based on the information contained
in the proposal, two or three individuals or firms will be invited for
an oral interview. All proposals will be based upon qualifications,
performance, and level of service. The firm who selected as best
suited to perform the work will be recommended for contract
award to the City Council.

Request for Qualifications
Oregon State University (OSU) is seeking qualifications from
a rc h ite c tu ra l firm s In te re s te d in p ro v id in g p re -d e s ig n /
programming, and potentially design through construction contract
administration services for a new Energy Center building on the
OSU campus. The new Energy Center will replace the existing
heat plant that provides high pressure steam to the OSU campus.
OSU has determined that the Energy Center will consist of a new
high pressure steam plant and associated support spaces. The
new building will be located on OSU’s main campus in Corvallis,
Oregon. The total gross square foot requirement is approximately
40,000 square feet. OSU staff has identified several possible
building sites and it is anticipated that the selected firm will analyze
th e b u ild in g p rogra m and p o te n tia l s ite s and m ake a
recommendation to OSU for the building site.
