Queen o f Hip-Hop
to Perform at MTV
Music Awards
(AP) — Mary J. Blige is among the latest
stars lined up to perform at the MTV Video
Music Awards.
The queen o f hip-hop soul joins previously
announced performers 50 Cent, Coldplay, Chris­
tina Aguilera and Good Charlotte.
MTV also said last week that the original five
members o f Duran Duran will be presenters at
the ceremony, along with Drew Barrymore,
Avril Lavigne, Ben Stiller, Nelly and Pamela
Anderson.
The 20th annual awards show is scheduled to
air live at 8 p.m. EDT Thursday, Aug. 28 from
