M cC askill, a 6-11 cen ter, played in only 27 games for the Spurs last season, and has played in ju st 44 NBA gam es since being drafted in 1996. Barkley, the 28th pick of the 2000 draft following his sophom ore season at St. John’s, has played sparingly for the Blazers in two sea sons. The 6-1 point guard has career averages of 2.9 points and 1.5 assists in 27 games. K err is a 14-year NBA veteran. He spent three sea sons w ith the Spurs before being traded last year, w in ning one of his four cham pi onship rings there in 1999. PSU Begins Practice Sessions The Portland State football program will begin practice sessions this w eek in preparation for the 2002 football season.
