REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS -
CONSULTING SERVICES
The City o f Ridgefield, WA is requesting consulting firms inter
ested in contracting with the City to provide Statement of Quali
fications (SOQs) pertaining to business consulting services to
downtown merchants and businesses. Performance of services
shall occur in April or May 2002.
The City of Ridgefield is administering a CDBG Block grant
designed to enhance opportunities for business development
in the older commercial center of the city. The City shall retain
a consultant for the purpose of providing (1) individualized busi
ness assessm ent to qualifying business in the downtown and
(2) a generalized assessment of the future market niche for
the commercial core.
Interested consulting firms or individuals shall prepare a state
ment of qualifications that contains the following information:
a statem ent describing the resources, capacity and past per
formances o f the firm making the bid; evidence of prior experi
ence in providing individualized business consulting; evidence
of prior experience in providing merchant assessments in small
downtown commercial districts; references for similar projects;
pricing information; and assurances regarding the ability to
complete the consulting services no later than May 31, 2002.
The City Manager shall select one or more firms for interview
based upon the response to the SOQ.
Submit three (3) copies of the SOQ to the Ridgefield City Man
ager, Mr. Randy Bombardier, no later than 4 :3 0 PM on March
18, 2002. City Manager, P.0. Box 608, Ridgefield, WA 98642.

Soft Drinks and Bottled Beverages
The Oregon Zoo is currently soliciting proposals for soft drink
and bottled beverage vendors. The Oregon zoo's soft drink
and bottled beverage contract has expired and the Zoo is de
sirous of creating a winning partnership with the successful
vendor to supply carbonated and other beverages at the Or
egon Zoo over the next five years. The successful vendor will
provide all product, equipment, materials, and maintenance
for carbonated and other beverages required by the Zoo.
Sealed proposals are due no later than 11:00 a.m. Friday,
April 12, 2002, Attention: Judy Case, Contracts Consultant,
Oregon Zoo, 4001 SW Canyon Road, Portland, Oregon 97221.
Proposals received after the deadline will be returned unopened.

Each proposal must be submitted in a form as described in
this proposal document.

Consolidated & Public Housing Agency Plans
The annual action plans for Multnomah County, the City of Port

objectives established In their approved long-range strategies.
