Charlie Brown and the gang parades into town

The Concordia University Theatre
is proud to present the first pro­
duction o f the 1999-2000 perfor­
mance season. You’re A Good
M an,C harIie Brown, the musi­
cal tale o f a day in the life o f
Charlie Brown.
Opening night will Be Thursday,
November 11th at 7PM, with ad­
ditional performances on Novem­
ber 12th and 13,h, at 8PM, Novem­
ber 14th at 2PM and 7PM. The the­
atre is located in the Fine Arts
Building on the Concordia Uni­
versity Cam pus at NE 27th &
Highland in Portland. Call 493-

The musical hit, guaranteed to be
entertaining for all ages, is set in
a day in the life of Charlie Brown.
The book, music and lyrics by
Clark Gesner feature the loveable
characters from Charles Schultz's
“Peanuts” comic strip including
Lucy, L in u s, S ch ro ed er and
Snoopy.
The madcap story revolves around
6-year old events ranging from
Valentine’s Day to baseball sea­
son, experiences o f wild optimism
to utter despair, from the pangs of
unrequited love to the joys o f
suppertime!
This production features local art­
ists along with Concordia stu­
dents, fulfilling one o f Concordia
University’s goals o f reaching out
to our community.

Lanza-Weil, the Theatre Program
Director and actress of recent ac­
claim for h er perform ance in
Blood Wedding.
