You’re A Good M an,C harIie Brown, the musi­ cal tale o f a day in the life o f Charlie Brown. Opening night will Be Thursday, November 11th at 7PM, with ad­ ditional performances on Novem­ ber 12th and 13,h, at 8PM, Novem­ ber 14th at 2PM and 7PM. The musical hit, guaranteed to be entertaining for all ages, is set in a day in the life of Charlie Brown. The book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner feature the loveable characters from Charles Schultz's “Peanuts” comic strip including Lucy, L in u s, S ch ro ed er and Snoopy. The madcap story revolves around 6-year old events ranging from Valentine’s Day to baseball sea­ son, experiences o f wild optimism to utter despair, from the pangs of unrequited love to the joys o f suppertime! This production features local art­ ists along with Concordia stu­ dents, fulfilling one o f Concordia University’s goals o f reaching out to our community. In 1977 they hosted their own show. The Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr. Show as a prime-time sum­ mer series. While Marilyn was hosting the popular Solid Gold series in the early 80’s, Billy recorded and solo gospel album. They have been headliners in cities around the world, hosted several program s, made The legendary husband and wife team of Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr. will perform at Chinook Winds Casino and Con­ vention Center October 22 & 23. They have performed together and individually since they first met as members of the enormously successful rock group, The Original 5th Di­ mension.
