for business or pleasure. Today,
instead of passing along your tele­
phone number, some African Americans are
finding it easier and safer to exchange e-mail
a d d r e s s e s . A c c o r d in g to a r e c e n t
study, African-American web browsers doubled
in number over the last year. The latest report
from the Nielsen-Commerce Net Study says
5.6 million African Americans are using the
I n t e r n e t at h o m e , w o rk , s c h o o l
or elsewhere.
Many businesses are now exploring the webs
