Mr. Woods began his program on February 12, 1998. Mr. Woods recently re ceived his second degree and we are proud of his accomplishments. Mr. Woods also comes with 15 years of working with parole and probation youth. He has helped a numerous amount of fami lies in the community. He has become a father fig ure, mentor and a confi dante to several young men and their families. Long after transition off his case load they continue to seek his advise and help today. Mr. Woods while work ing with parole and proba tion youth was given a vi sion to reach out and help youth before becoming a judicated. Academic skill building was an area that needed to be addressed, his vision came into full view and becam e “ P o sitiv e Youth Development.” The program's focus is primarily on youth ranging from 11-15 years of age. If purchased by August 26, tickets are $10 and $15 for adults; $7 and $ 12 for senior; $6 and $ 11 for children ages 6-12; and $5 and $!0 for children 5 and under. After August 26, prices go up by $ 1 for adults and $2 for seniors and children. Carman released his 14th album, Mission 3:16, in January. It hasn’t been off the Top Ten Christian Music charts since. Carman Carman is in the early part o f two year focus on Mission 3:16, which he calls his bold est and most creative effort to date. Based in Nashville, Carman attracts attention throughout the country. He was a big draw when her performed at the LB Day Amphitheater in 1993 and holds the record for drawing the largest crowd ever to a Christian con cert. 71,000 fans packed Texas Sta dium in 1994 to see him. Mrs. Irani was bom on November 11, 1911 in India. She belonged to the Zoarastrian Church and lived the past 30 years in the Portland area. Mrs. Irani enjoyed sewing and being with her children and grandchildren. Gregory Hans Hollis was bom August 21, 1959 in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Hollis passed July 15, 1998 at the age o f 38. He worked as an EMT and belonged to the New Beginnings Church o f Portland. He enjoyed movies, fishing, picnick ing, cooking and traveling.
