Division Director
The Casey Family Program, a private, not for profit, long term foster
care perm anency options organization with 380+ employees located
in 14 states has an im m ediate opening for Division Director in its
Portland, Oregon office.
This position will lead one of 18 divisions within the program in the
achievem ent of both tactical & strategic goals in support of the
organizations mission and is ultim ately responsible for the quality
and effectiveness of delivery at services to children and families
served by the division. Additionally, the Division Director is expected
to prom ote the larger organization’s agenda through intra-region
coordination and information sharing fostering collaborations with
other Casey division and outside organizations with a view to
enhance the system of care to youth within the region.
The focus of this position is to oversee and manage the full range
of operational and adm inistrative functions within the division as well
as to build advocacy networks for purposes of influencing the larger
child welfare com m unity.
The successful candidate will possess a Master Degree in social
work plus appropriate professional accreditation/certification and a
minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible combined expe­
rience in the management, adm inistration & clinical supervision of
a public or private child welfare agency. The Division Director must
have proven experience in budget development & management,
information systems, and research. Experience in office adm inistra­
tion and personnel m anagem ent is also required. Knowledge of the
legal system as it applies to child welfare & other human services
with diverse populations is highly desirable. Exp in foster care
services and practice is strongly preferred.
