On F e b r u a r y 2 4 , 1 9 9 8 ,
R u ssell G e ra ld H a rris was a r­
rested by P ortland Police D e­
tectives in connection w ith tw o
R o b b e ry a n d S ex u al A ssa u lt
in v estig atio n s. The cases o c­
curred betw een N ovem ber o f
last year and February o f 1998.
One o f his victim s was picked
up on 82nd A venue near Stark
and the other on NE Sandy near
SE 87th A venue. In each o f the
cases the victim s w ere fem ale
and had previous histories re la t­
ing to p rostitution, the suspect
