(MERC) is soliciting sealed Bids for Concession Facili
ties Upgrade at the Oregon Convention Center.
Sealed Bids for the Oregon Convention Center (OCC) Con
cessions Facilities Upgrade, must be delivered to MERC
Offices, 111 N. E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Portland, OR
97232, to the attention of Mark Hunter, Project Manager, no
later than 3;QQ P.m. Pacific Time, Thursday. January 11
1996. At that time, the Bids will be opened an publicly read

The Work contemplated consists of all equipment, materials
and labor as necessary to remodel the existing facilities in
accordance with the construction documents. The location o
the work will be at Oregon Convention Center, 111 N. E
Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Portland, OR. The purpose of the
work is to remodel, modify and upgrade the existing conces
sions facilities located adjacent to Exhibit Halls “A” and “C” as
described in the Bid Documents.
Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and
accompanied by a certified check or cashier’s check or Bid
Bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to MERC in
the amount of ten percent ( 10%) of the total bid amount. The

The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the neces­
sary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the
