As I approached the steel and glass building, approxim ately 785,000 square feet on 8 levels, it all looked so complicated. Feeling like a tourist besieged by a fortified spaceship, seemingly a harmonious celebration and the official openingofthe Portland Trail Blazer’s gigantic Rose Quarter was taking place. j What a pleasant surprise Port land’s arrival of a full entertain ment complex, the Rose Garden arena, the Memorial Coliseum, the Commons, One Center Court, the Box Office, and the new Trail Blaz ers, Inc. and the Oregon Arena Corp, offices.
