Federal Grant Requirements. This Project is being fi­
nanced in whole by a grant made or insured by the United
States Government acting through the Housing & Urban
Development Agency (HUD), which will, therefore, require
approval by its representatives of all contracts, attachments,
and similar documents, all partial and final payments, esti­
mates, and change orders. The contract will be subject to
regulations of HUD.

Deadline: June 9, 1995
The Oregon Department of Energy invites proposals from
firms and individuals qualified to provide workshops and on­
site energy systems assessments, project commissioning,
' and training to public sector building operators. The work­
shops will provide the operators with a better understanding
of the energy using and control systems in their buildings and
will help reduce energy use and costs through improved
operation and m aintenance practices. The site visits will
assess the buildings’ energy using systems, training needs
of maintenance staff, and performance of newly installed
energy using systems. The work requires travel throughout
| the state. The work is scheduled to begin in August 1995 and
end in June 1997, contingent on future funding approval.
I The contract(s) resulting from this RFP will be 100 percent
| funded by Bonneville Power Administration and the US
Department of Energy.
