Fitz-Pegado will lead a “Minority Business Trade and Development Matchmaker" to South Africa, this week, joined by the U.S. Department of Commerce's new Di rector of Minority Business Devel opment Agency, Michael Rogers, and 18 private-secior leaders from mi nority-owned companies. “This mission, the first U.S. minority business delegation to visit South Africa in the post-apartheid era, represents the Administration's strong commitment to promoting U.S. minority interests in the new South Africa and to forging a viable U.S.- South Africa economic relationship built upon the active engagement of the U.S. business community,“ stated Secretary of Commerce Ronald H. Brown.
