annual Steinfeld’s Sauerkraut Festi­
val Saturday, October 9. from 10am
to dusk, on the grounds of city hall in
downtown Scappoose.
The sauerkraut event will feature
food and craft booths, games, tours of
the Steinfeld’s sauerkraut plant and
the popular sauerkraut dunk tank.
Local performers will provide enter­
tainm ent throughout the event. Ad-
mission is free and proceeds benefit
local organizations and charities.
The festival is sponsored by the
Scappoose City Club and Steinfeld’s
Products, local producer of sauerkraut,
