Residential Code Compliance Study
Deadline: January 29,1993
The Oregon Department of Energy invites qualified consultants
' to submit proposals for a residential energy code compliance
study.The purpose of the study is to estimate the magnitude of
energy savings between current levels of compliance and full
compliance with the code, and to identify the major reasons for
the difference. This information will be used by a policy-level
Energy Code Compliance Working Group reviewing energy code
administration.
The contractor will begin field work in April, 1993, and study
approximately 400 homes. The study should be completed by
October, 1993.
The Department anticipates approximately 20% federal funding
from Bonneville Power Administration for this project.
