C arl Parker and his w ife ’ Andrea

m u n ity L e arning Center. It is the out
grow th o f a program that orig in a te d in
1985 whose acronym was C .I.T .Y .
citizens in vo lve d in teaching. The p ro
gram addressed the needs o f children
kindergarten through sixth grades and
focus in on reading and math s kills.

gram has served 600 students and p ro
vided over 40,000 hours o f tu to rin g

Parker said that parents have express to
