Graystone Gallery
May 7 through June 14,1992
Artist’s Statement:
This exhibition is a presentation
that sifts through our African ancestral
memories. It reflects our struggle to
reclaim restless spiritual visions from
the beginning of all creation, and through
our people’s survival beyond enslave-

ment.
We are here to share our journey as
we awaken our consciousness and chal
lenge our hearts to dance through the
many rooms of our house.
When the spirit moves you — yes
indeed!
When the spirit moves us — we
shout!
We are sisters shouting with the
spirit.
