Overlook (4th to 8th) N.W. Battaglia (Division to 833' South) Project No. 5020 Sealed proposals will be received by the Department of Environ mental Services at the City Hall, 1333 N.W. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the public contract ing agency shall, for the purpose of awarding the contract, add a percent increase on the bid of a nonresident bidder equal to the percent, if any, of the preference given to that bidder in the state in which the bidder resides. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279.029. This Electrical Engineer will develop designs for the company's electric distribution system by selecting routes, materials and tools to meet company and custom er needs in a timely and economic manner; will analyze existing distribution feeders and develop plans and budget items for improvements to correct existing or expected weaknesses; will evaluate line materials, perform economic studies for construction alternatives, write material specifications and interpret construction codes; will work closely with other engineers and with construction personnel in the field.
