The Movement
Still Continues
to proceed with the purchase ot ootn
these houses expeditiously as possible.
As the details of the transaction have
come to light, we still seem to be about
$1,500 short of the amount needed to
close the purchases. However, we be
lieve that the Lord who has brought us
this far and will supply all that is needed
to finish the job. If the Lord speaks to
your heart to help the school acquire
these properties, please send your dona
tions to NPBC, marked for “ Campus/
Building Fund.” Donations will also serve
to buy necessary permits, materials for
remodeling the houses, utilities and prop
erty payments on the “ Gantenbein
House.”

We (North Portland Bible College)
are pleased to report some great progress
toward buying the two parcels of land on
the south end of the block, each with a
house. The owner and mortgage holder
of the house at 4905 N. Vancouver Ave.
have agreed to release their interests in
the property at a nominal cost, if we pay
all taxes and liens on that land. That
means we should be able to purchase
clear title to the land for a little over
$8,000. Costs to make a down payment
on the house at 4906 N. Gantenbein are
still about $750.
