THE SHOW WAS LOST FOR THIRTY YEARS For som e 30 years, the play has ¡^een “ buried,” and before we did last year, it had never even ¿ layed Philly, ju s t a 120 m iles Tfom N ew York. So the show and the m u sic w as like “ pure silver new m in t” to the eager new au dience as w ell as “ m u sic to the ears” o f all Langston H ughes scholars and fans.
