Church Mrs. H endrix died Wednesday in her Northeast Po rtlan d home. She was 63 years o f age. She was born in Dekalb, Texas, at tended D e K alb H igh School, and moved to P o rtlan d in 1940. She worked at Joseph’ s Plastics and The Portland Clinic, then became circula tion manager fo r the P o rtlan d O b server 15 years ago Mrs. Hendrix had attended Bethel A .M .E . Church since moving to Port land and was a member o f the Usher Board of the church. Surviving arc her son, Richard A. Norton o f Portland; two sister., M ar garet Greene and Alene G rice, both of Portland; and a grandson. Burial was in Rose City Cemetery.
