M an O f The H our Z .Z . H ill has been on the recording scene since the early sixties. During that period Z .Z . has had his share o f hits such as " Y o u W ere W ro n g ,” "Second Chance,” “ D o n ’t Make M e Pay,” " M r . N obody,” "Love Is So Good When You’re Stealing It ,” plus many others. After more than twenty years as a recording artist, the biggest break came for Z .Z . when he signed his current contract with Malaco Records. The first album Malaco released had some hits— "B um p and G rin d ,” "Separate W ays,” and "Blue M o n day Blues.” The second and current album, Down Home, has already sold more than half a million copies and is still selling. There is little doubt that the Down Hom e album will be the number one blues album o f the year. Every cut is a potential single hit. "Cheating In The Next R o o m ,” and " W h e n Can W e Do This A g a in ,” have already made it as singles. "D o w n Home Blues” is the kind o f blues album a blues lover can relate to. The one song on the album that is as bluesy as you can get is “ Everybody Knows About M y Good Thing.” Z .Z . has been a long-time favorite in the South. He has recently signed a long-term promotinal deal with Don Johnson o f D .J. Productions to han dle his engagements from Tucson to Seattle. Johnson is number one in the West for blues.
