A t age four Earl Jr. signed a contract with a real professional ag ent and he made an orange juice T V com m ercial for M in u te M a id . H e sat on the lap o f a circus clow n. Maybe you saw this on national T V . About this time his agent changed Earl’s professional name to B.J. W hen B .J. was five years o ld , Kentucky Fried Chicken chose him for one o f their commercials. And, now at age six, B.J. has had bit roles in H ill Street Blues which, with little doubt, will be scheduled for reruns soon. The Stalls brought their own three teen-age sons and a teen-age friend of theirs for the fam ily’s first trip to the Northwest. Sister R icarda also holds Masters Degrees in Adm inis tration and Ouidance Counselling. “ The sisterhood is celebrating its own 800th Anniversary this year,” Sister R icarda pointed o u t, and added, “ The Dubuque Franciscans are 100 years o ld .” “ We wore brown habits when I entered the order but now we have the privilege o f choosing what we wear. “ I taught in Io w a parochial schools for many years and became a p rin c ip al in Ossian, S tacyville, Sioux City and Waterloo. In 1974, she said her first vows to “ live a life o f gospel, poverty, celibate love and obedience” in her chosen Franciscan com munity.
